About us:
EPG (Ethernet product Group) SIE (Silicon Engineering) is one of Intel's leading groups, responsible for end-to-end development of industry and market leading Ethernet controllers for data centers, focused on cloud, networking, and enterprise markets.
Our cutting-edge products drive the cloud networking infrastructure, enabling advanced internet services every day to billions of users around the globe.
About you:
In this role you will join a team responsible to define and develop performance & QoS system-level models for cutting edge Ethernet network controllers. Those system-level models are used for pathfinding analysis at early stages of a project and for microarchitecture validation, solving critical issues in areas that other disciplines are unable to cover.
As a member of a system-level modeling team, you will develop software models of critical sections of our networking devices, in advanced programming languages and tools. You will find yourself encompassing all stages of a leading modeling development life cycle: requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding and test writing of performance analysis models.
Your job will include learning and specializing in transaction-level modeling methodologies in C++/SystemC and a deep understanding of networking devices micro-architecture.
