Graphics Pre-Silicon Validation Intern

Job Description

Graphics And Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering, is responsible for delivering industry-leading 3D, media, compute, and display. Also, hardware, intellectual property blocks and system-on-a-chip products, for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and do not let any organizational boundary get in the way of solving problems.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Working on modeling, design, and validation of cutting edge, next generation, graphics processor.
  • Creating micro-architecture simulation models, of graphics and compute, Datapath pipeline.
  • Assisting with accurate measurement for power & performance of next generation micro-architecture.
  • Assist with the Register Transfer Level validation by enhancing the random ISA generator and with specific 3d Graphics, and compute workloads.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Master's Degree

6+ months of experience with:

  • Digital design
  • Computer architecture
  • Object-oriented programming

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ months experience with:

  • Pre- or post-silicon application-specific integrated circuit, verification/validation
  • Open verification methodology and universal verification methodology
  • Verilog and System Verilog
  • Scripting languages such as Python or Perl
  • Pursuing PHD
