Graphics Hardware Engineering Intern

Job Description

Then our Graphics and Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) has an opportunity for you.  GTCHE is responsible for delivering GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel. We are looking for a Graphics Hardware Engineering Intern to join our team.

You will be responsible in for the following activities:

  • Create tools using python to evaluate performance of media codec and video processing workloads on Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Update the Automation frameworks to add and modify new workloads, usages, and test flows.
  • Evaluate performance of media graphics and debug issues in execution.


Qualifications

Minimum Skills and Experience:


You must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer science with 3+  months of educational experience.

Your experience should be in the following:

  • Performance validation and creating evaluation reports
  • Automation Environment and scripting in Python or Linux

 

Preferred skills and Experience:

  • Graphics and Media Validation and Verification Debug
  • Cross Platform and Multiple OS experience such as Windows, Linux, and/or Mac.
