Logic-validation Engineer (a.k.a verification) for Core MLC Team. An excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated engineer to be part of Intel's Core Group - C2DG, doing exciting work in the development of next generation Core-CPU. Validators are responsible for uArch-definition and verification of Intel's Mid-Level-Cache features. Intel's Core is a leading IP, with large impact on product goodness and corporate profits. The role includes uArch definition/verification/debug of MLC features, while driving a complex process of exercising to logical correctness. Development using unique, state-of-the-art, languages and tools and advanced software engineering methodologies. Validators are supporting large interface from architecture, RTL and Post-Si validation. In addition to verification languages and methodologies, engineers will develop expertise with Intel's Core Architecture and Micro Architecture and will be deeply involved in feature's definition for Intel next generation products. Engineers are expected to be independent, creative, with the ability to innovate new solutions and demonstrate uncompromising quality during their work.
The candidate should possess a BSC or MSC degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
� 1-3 years of overall experience performing pre-silicon validation of logic design using Specman or System Verilog
� System understanding and fast learner
� Excellent communication skills and team work
� Experience in the last years working with RTL engineers, over development of VLSI products.
� Strong problem solving and debugging skills and ability to work closely with various chip design disciplines and cross-site teams.
