System Validation Architect

The Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) Organization's, Graphics System Engineering Validation Team is expanding its leading position in graphics for the PC market with high-end discrete graphics solutions for a broad range of computing segments. Millions of users today enjoy computing experiences powered by Intel's leading cores and visual computing IP. We are adding to our portfolio of unmatched capabilities, advancing our strategy to lead in computing and graphics, and ultimately be the driving force of the data revolution.


Intel is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our System Engineering Validation team, within GTCHE, as a System Validation Architect to validate our next generation of discrete graphics hardware and work with cutting edge IP design technologies.

In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities:

  • Architect and define system validation strategy for Intel discrete graphics platform solutions in datacenter and consumer segments
  • Ensure discrete graphics platform and its subsystems have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components
  • Develop and drive validation methodologies and innovations
  • Define and review validation planning and test tool requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe on validation alignment and program milestones

Qualifications

Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:

Bachelor’s degree in computer/electrical engineering or equivalent, with 7+ years of experience.

Your experience must be in the following:

  • System or post-silicon validation
  • System-level interaction between hardware and software
  • Computer architecture and interactions between CPU, GPU, add-in-board, motherboard, memory, or I/O subsystems
  • Development of validation test plans or methodologies

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:

  • Experience in datacenter server validation and debug
  • Industry compliance and logo certification (display, PCIe, etc)
