PTD Module Engineers are responsible for leading the development of innovative device architectures to support Moore's law combined with high volume manufacturing of the final process. The process engineer will develop the silicon process in parallel with the process equipment development. This results from the increasingly stringent requirements of the new processes for both defects and control.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Work effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose, and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues that come up when scaling production.
Operate manufacturing line to integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
Insitu ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to Intel's worldwide fab network.
Install and qualify additional manufacturing additional capacity.
Responsible for the technology transfer to Intel's worldwide fab network.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Must possess a PhD degree majoring in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
Must start within 6 months of receiving the offer.
