As an Applications Engineering Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team within the Interface Factory Applications group with primary role to ensure excellent presales and post-sales customer enablement to help with design wins and accelerated revenue.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage team of application engineers who will be responsible for Intel PSG SerDes and protocols such as PCIe, EMIF, CXL, etc.
Coordinate generation of technical collateral including user guides and application notes reference designs and training material for key IPs supported by Intel PSG.
Providing guidance from a customer and systems perspective to cross functional teams to create optimal solutions.
Collaborate with the Engineering team on device and board bringup efforts and manage lab activities.
Engage with multiple engineering teams across organizations including Hardware Engineering Software Engineering and Systems Engineering on cross-functional efforts.
Providing product readiness feedback as an early user to cross functional teams and managing efforts to improve the product.
Act as liaison for all Field Applications Engineering FAE teams to enable successful account management and a good communications channel between the field and the engineering.
Work with the Product Planning and Marketing team on roadmap generation and help define technical specs based on learnings from customer experiences.
Participate in trade shows and assist with outbound marketing effort. Provide technical leadership career development and mentoring for team.
Bachelor’s Degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or other STEM related field
Minimum Qualification Requirements
8 years of experience in major Interface standards examples include PCIe, EMIF, and High Speed SerDes
8 years of experience must include working cross functionally in verification test and validation concepts for high speed SerDes and Ips

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or other STEM related field is a plus
