As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK hynix.
This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK hynix.
Primary responsibilities involve administration of various network/systems resources in support of NAND Solid-State Drive (SSDs) development and manufacturing. This will include setup/configuration of Windows and Linux servers, remote monitoring, administration and debug of server issues, documentation of support procedures and other general administrative duties. Will also involve software script maintenance/development in support of various processes (such as automation). Key responsibilities include assisting in research, development, and implementing solutions to maintain and enhance current systems, providing 2nd tier support to other IT staff, implementing and enforcing policies, evaluating new technologies to enhance our computing environments, and applying updates to current applications and system infrastructure.

Assist in integration of new applications and technologies
Become a Subject Matter Expert - SME with new technologies as needed
Provide training and documentation to others as needed or required
Work closely with other areas of business operations

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 4+ years Linux Server Administration -Red Hat \ Ubuntu
Troubleshooting Server connectivity, DNS, DHCP, ACLs, Network, Firewalls, local and attached storage
Server performance tuning in a large enterprise / corporate network environment
Experience writing scripts in one or more Linux centric script languages, Bash, Python or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a Microsoft Server OS environment -including AD administration
Some relational database experience - MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL
Knowledge and experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions
Linux certifications
HPE Server technologies
Enterprise Storage technologies
Tier 1 networking configuration / troubleshooting experience
Knowledge and experience of enterprise firewall products
Hyper-V experience
Enterprise Monitoring / System Monitoring - Zabbix or equivalent, log management-Elk, and event analysis experience
