The candidate will be working as part of Intel System Software Engineering increasing our capabilities regarding guided fuzzing of Linux kernel extensions and emerging VM SW stacks.
The candidate will explore new approaches to fuzzing various aspects of the x86 VM API. The candidate will work with us to weigh the pros/cons of various options and prioritize in relation to threat surface and criticality.
The candidate will work remotely and will need to be able to provide an uninterrupted environment for conference calls as well as stable internet connection for VPN/remote connections. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter with a strong problem solving mindset able to navigate complex/ambiguous problem statements independently.
Please note that students need to be enrolled during the whole period of employment in order to be eligible for the student position.
Qualifications
Bachelor/Master/PhD student in the filed of Computer Science/Engineering or
related, with specialization in security technology.
