SoC Low Power Design Engineer

Job Description

In Discrete graphics are looking for a highly motivated and technically savvy experienced candidate to join our team as a SoC Low Power design engineer. We are looking for an Engineer with expertise in Low power domain. Candidate will be responsible for generating the low power specification & Pre-Si Power validation of Intel's next generation high performance discrete graphics in various operating scenarios. In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to-

  • Work with SoC RTL and power management architects to define and design low power solutions
  • Collaborate  with RTL designers, pre- and post-silicon verification teams, synthesis, timing and back-end teams to accomplish good quality/bug free power intent.



Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years' experience - OR - a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years' experience in/with:

Required Qualifications

- Expert level hands on experience in EDA tools like VCLP or SPYGLASS

- Very Good understanding of UPF (1.0/2.X) constructs & low power design concepts

- Good low power design issues debug skills

- Expertise in Tcl, Perl/Python is required

- RTL level Digital IC Design using System Verilog and/or Verilog
