Drive design methodologies and key functional areas providing technical leadership and guidance
Drive and own hands-on design convergence and quality for large blocks, clusters from RTL to GDS [Synthesis, Place & Route, Timing, EMIR, PDV etc].
Work extensively with implementation and RTL teams to help optimize/converge the designs and drive PPA improvements
Ensure cross teams' communications with Logic and Arch Teams and also with Full-Chip Timing, CAD and Integration Teams
Influence tools, flows and overall RTL to GDS2 physical design methodology with a data driven approach
Lead Structural design SD engineers in RTL to GDSII convergence for multiple DDR PHY projects
Collaborate with Logic and timing signoff team to determine innovative solution and or approaches to critical paths
Define specifications and requirements of input collaterals into SD team
Review and audit the design quality to avoid post silicon escapees before handoff to the SOC team
Collaborate across functional teams IP leads Logic Circuit in PHY level to define the high-level schedule for projects
Collaborate with SD engineers to define the low-level schedule to meet the deliverables
Mentor and develop next level technical pipeline
Derive innovation in Tools and Flow Methodology in Penang and across geo
Drive Implementation innovation on 24Ghz Clock Tree Synthesis
Possess strong initiative analytical problem-solving skills team working skills ability to multitask and be able to work within a diverse team environment
Technical lead for junior engineers in the team and drive vendor teams to achieve various milestone goals
- B.Tech ( EE ) with 10+ years relevant experience or Master's with 7+ years relevant experience required.
