The Patent Transactions Group (PTG) consists of a team of attorneys and non-attorney professionals that are responsible for all intellectual property transactions for Intel. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Research and Operations in PTG, this Project Manager oversees the business and legal operations including billing, budget, vendor management and KPI creation and maintenance.
As a project manager you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage the budget and spend tracking and consolidation of matters, lead the processes of generating spend reports and assist in presentations to management on monthly basis.
Generate and maintain various periodical business operations metric reports include but not limited to project activity tracker, project inventory reports, and monthly status reports.
Facilitate e-billing invoice approval, vendor assignment, and assist e-billing system troubleshooting by working with Intel attorneys, outside counsel and online database vendors.
Drive the new vendor registration procedure by using Intel's Supplier Database, monitor contract and subscription renewals, and raise purchase orders and eChecks.
Lead the matter creation and maintenance in legal matter management database and participate in Legal department's operations software and tool selection and evaluation.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant majors.
2+ years full time experience in a business operations, accounting, sales and marketing or finance organization.
Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel is required (e.g. Pivot Table, Macro, and Power Pivot).
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
2+ years of experience working with e-billing system, matter management database, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) are highly preferred.
2+ years of experience working with business software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
