Global Client Launch Strategy & Marketing Manager

Job Description

As a Client Launch Strategy and Marketing Manager, you'll drive the global launch strategy for major products and initiatives aligned to the Client Computing Group - including mobile, desktop and discrete graphics platforms. In this role, you'll develop impactful approaches to bring our products to market worldwide, create compelling messaging, develop partner/OEM engagement strategy and drive a cross-functional/cross-organization v-team to generate broad awareness, adoption, and preference for Intel's client product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of major PC client computing trends, market segments and the competitive landscape. Proven experience in developing strategy for and executing launch of major products globally or related experience, along with creative messaging development and ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external partners to maximize the impact of launches globally. Experience working with the breadth of marketing disciplines/centers of excellence (COEs) to drive a cohesive launch strategy.

The person in this role must be a credible, experienced communicator with strong program management experience. This role will have extensive interaction with Intel and industry executives. Therefore, candidate must have excellent verbal / written / oral communications, business & technical acumen and be a highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple objectives.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

  • Define launch objectives, launch process and innovative strategies pre-, during- and post-launch to create sustained momentum .

  • Drive the key asset creation (e.g. partner deck, launch video), develop breakthrough launch messaging/narrative and other go-to-market materials in close collaboration with cross division marketing, sales and business teams, plus ratify plan alignment with sr. management

  • Ensure successful launch execution by partnering with client computing division program manager(s) and cross-organization centers of excellence (COE) such as Events, Community, PR, Social, Retail Marketing and Channel Marketing.

  • Support story and content development of executive level launch and event keynotes

  • Collaborate and help guide strategy/messaging/scope of Tier 1 Intel PC client event participation (virtual and physical)

  • Manage and maintain launch status, key milestone status and other program management documents in order to ensure a comprehensive, on-time launch.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of Intel's business and technology as well as of the ecosystem (competitor landscape, etc.)

  • Track record in creating and driving marketing strategy, messaging and managing major global product launches, major industry events, or similar major marketing initiatives

  • Proven experience with program management and managing complex initiatives. Ability to work effectively cross-organization and with senior executives under tight deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Due to GEO coordination required by this position, candidate must be able to hold meetings at local GEO convenient times.

  • Occasional travel in support of launch events, potentially in multiple geos, along with domestic travel among Intel offices will be part of this role (pending Intel pandemic travel guidelines).


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing/communications or related area.

  • 5+ years' experience in product go-to-market, communications and/or outbound marketing
