Training Specialist-2020 Graduate

Job Description

As a Video training coordinator (task-based videos, eg PMs, and laptop-based videos, eg data analysis)
Video creation

  • Expert in creating effective videos for training purposes
  • How to generate the videos, how to edit to convey key messages
  • Video created to suit form factor it will be view on (mobile, laptop etc)
  • Ensure hardware and software in place to support program goals - equipment stored in Smart cabinet etc
  • Maintain BKM document (posted in Degreed), train reps in FAs


Video management

  • Maintain BKM managing IP control, balanced with making the videos easy to find (eg through 'tagging' and 'key-word' setup)
  • Ensure Video Portal channel structure is set up to optimise sharing of content x-F24 and x-FSM
  • Maintain BKM for sharing of videos x-channel


User experience

  • Ensure employees know how to maximise the benefit of their experience with video training
  • Employees know how to find videos they need, what form factor to view on etc





Creating Pathways

  • Expert in creating effective Degreed Pathways to support employee learning & skills development
  • How to generate the Pathways, how to manage structure and layout
  • How to store and manage documented content in ILN (eg when Pathways have Intel-generated content outside scope of My Learning / SABA)
  • Maintain BKM document, train reps in FAs & content experts


Pathway management

  • Ensure Pathways are set up to optimise sharing of content x-F24 and x-FSM
  • Maintain BKM for managing and updating Pathway content


User experience

  • Ensure employees know how to maximise the benefit of their experience with Degreed Pathways
  • Employees know how to find Pathways that are useful to them,



You will also be involved in

  • Academy programme support
  • Academy programme prep
  • Work with owner of the academy to plan logistics - class schedules, rooms, target audience etc
  • Work with owners of classes to ensure content is up to date, class details in My Learning are correct etc
  • Send calendar invites to target audience and class instructors, work with academy owner on any issues RE attendance
  • Support academy owner with organising snacks, lunches etc


Academy delivery
Ensure room-set up meets instructor needs, support instructors with any requests they have during the academy
Support instructors with class sign-off, ensure attendees acquire credit in 'My Learning' for classes completed

Academy after-action review

  • Work with academy owner on what went well, what could be improved for future academies
  • Bundle creation in Infinity
  • Support FAs in creating new Infinity bundles as part of next technology readiness


Qualifications

Minimum Level 8 qualification in HR/Training
