Penang Assembly/Test (PGAT) Factory Manager
Responsible for all business operations (primarily servers, 5G and FPGAs on Intel's latest EMIB assembly technology and 10nm process) within the factory including but not exclusive to: factory operations, safety, quality, delivery, and product cost. Lead a 1200 workforce comprising diverse job grades and backgrounds working within the virtual factory and with various functional organizations. Responsible for ensuring the factory's continuous improvement in productivity and cost through excellent yields and effective labor and tool utilization. The factory is also expected to align to the platform's goals and ensure it is CE! with the rest of the factory network. Must be customer oriented and understand the needs of the BUs. Must respond quickly to the changing market environment and proactively position the factory for steep ramps. Must build strong collaboration and trust with peers across the ATM network, business groups, technology development & Global Supply Chain. Must have a can-do attitude and passion in developing people while creating an organization environment that values inclusion. Will be accountable for organization stability and health as measured through various surveys. Accountable for setting the right leadership tone with ethics and controls. Role model Intel's cultural attributes and ensure the factory does as well. Always put Intel first over the factory and site priorities. The individual will also work closely and be in alignment with the Site Leadership priorities.
Inside this Business Group
The successful candidate will report to the ATM GM and must have at least a Bachelor degree, preferably in a technical field with a minimum of 15 years of direct factory experience with a strong technical and operations background and a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing a large organization with demonstrated strengths in stakeholder management. The candidate must have a proven track record in people management with strong feedback scores for themselves and the organization.
