Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Safely troubleshoot errors
  • Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment to maintain 100% manufacturing uptime.
  • Conducting preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance inspections and procedures. (Work performed within generally defined parameters.)

Internship details:

  • Some degree of judgment and troubleshooting skill required in resolving nonstandard problems.
  • The candidate need to be willing to work day/night shift and weekends to maintain minimum staffing for 24x7 operations.
  • May include membership in the campus Emergency Response Team.
  • Interns need to work at least 20 hours a week while attending classes as a full time student.

Qualifications

**This is an entry level and part time position. Compensation will be given accordingly**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in an AAS degree program in HVAC, Mechanical, UPW Ultra-pure Water/IWS Industrial Waste Systems Engineering or related field during the course of the intenrship.
  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

3 months to 1 year of experience in:

  • Hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records.
  • Following procedures.
