Industry Technical Specialist
This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for Influencing and advocating Intel based products and solutions for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to Business and IT. The Industry Technical Specialist is the technical counterpart to the Account Executive and is responsible for ensuring that all technical and architectural needs of our covered accounts are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business units teams and our partners to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve our customer business problem and that create significant pull for Intel's products and solutions.
The ITS will be a team member of Intel PRC SMG Inside Sales CESG (Cloud & Enterprise Solutions Group) team. The Insides Sales organization is a newly formed organization with a charter to accelerate Intel's growth in its evolution from a PC company to one that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices. The organization is at the forefront of establishing a new sales model leveraging modern technology and big data and analytics to drive impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage. As a successful candidate, you must possess:
ITS manages Proof-of-Concept projects, supports bench-marking and product evaluation on customer side, makes PoCs and Demos, presents technical materials, delivers training and publishes white papers.
ITS collaborates with partners (Multi-National Corporations, Original Equipment Manufacturers, System Integrator, Independent Software Vendors and other ecosystem players) to bring max Intel value to the business. Knows partners' product lines and business and articulates Intel value in front of competition
As a trusted technical adviser, ITS engages technical decision makers to drive awareness and early adoption of new Intel technologies, platforms and products
The ITS will also be expected to meet or exceed annual quota of Deal Wins and be seen and perceived as a trusted advisor by key stakeholders at the covered customers.
Inside this Business Group
Solid knowledge of Data Center's Compute, Networks and Storage Technologies
Demonstrated ability to work in pair with Account Executive counterparts
Ability to excel as an empowered individual contributor and ability to work under pressure
5+ years of customer facing experience and demonstrated ability to articulate the benefits of complex technologies and solutions
Strong English written and verbal skills
A master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering
