SSD Validation Intern

Job Description

Seeking an SSD Validation intern to join the Intel Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group to validate Firmware & Hardware on the next generation of Intel's industry-leading Solid State Drives (SSDs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Development of system-level validation software to test SSD features in a real user environment
  • Executing tests, reporting results, and trouble-shooting failures using industry standard tools
  • Working in a team environment to drive improvements to the validation/test flow


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant training and/or research experience.


Minimum requirements:

  • Must be working towards a MS in EE, CPE, or CS fields of study
  • 6+ months knowledge/experience with Computer Architecture concepts and software development using Python and/or C/C++
  • Knowledge of GIT source code version control system and Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of SSD architecture, SSD functionality, and PCIe/NVMe bus protocols is a plus

*This is a 9 months internship
