As a summer program participant you will need to work as a team player and be willing to assist in multiple projects over the course of the summer. The job duties will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the business unit that is being supported. You will need to check-in with management to show your progress and discuss any issues you may have encountered in a constructive manner. At the end of the program you will be asked to deliver a presentation on how your experience went and what you learned.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt administrative or technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments may last for only three months (usually during the summer months) or may alternate a semester of work with a semester of school. Open to full-time students only. Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Limited judgment required in resolving standard problems. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
The candidate must be pursuing a High School Degree or is about to complete their junior or senior year local to Intel Folsom campus.
6+ months of experience in the following areas:
o Microsoft Office
o Excel spreadsheets
o Data analysis
*Applicant must be 16 years or older, by the start of the program
*Applicant must have an interest in STEM
