Technology and Manufacturing Group Strategic Planning (TMGSP) are a worldwide group that are focused on developing the plans and options needed to support the manufacturing engine of Intel, its factory network, to deliver the products that delight our internal and external customers. Further we are a key cog in ensuring that the factories are set up with the equipment they need precisely when and where it is needed to maximize Intel's return on investment.As a part of the TMGSP Organisation, the role involves developing factory capacity, capital & layout plans from conceptual stage through final tool installation on the Ireland site. In this position, you will be responsible for forecasting equipment, planning plant, production facilities, equipment layouts, and determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing the installation sequence and required timing, including supporting the analysis and recommendations for future use scenarios. The candidate will also be expected to develop, follow and improve business standards within the organisation and drive standardization across multiple sites in various geographies and participate in meetings with partners located in Israel, Oregon, Arizona which will, at times, will require meetings outside of the standard work hours or travel abroad to support those activities.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/production or similar Engineering OR Finance with 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Ability to effectively communicate ideas using written and verbal means at all levels of management and across diverse functional teams manufacturing, finance, construction, tool install while being able to apply active listening skills to deliver consistent results.
Ability to summarize significant information to concise executive summaries and recommendations using strong presentation skills.
Strong project management and negotiation skills in order to negotiate key deliverables or support between multiple organisations.
Ability to work in an ever changing environment and performing within a team/culture which includes: high tolerance of ambiguity, setting expectations, driving accountability, possesses excellent teamwork, demonstrated leadership and team oriented.
Knowledge of factory Layout development and Capacity / demand fundamentals. This will be at the core of all activities.
Familiarity with 2D or 3D CAD software with demonstrated ability to visualize and communicate complex structures would be preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations production and/or manufacturing processes, facilities and a solid understanding of the factory capacity/capital systems are desirable.
Good understanding of database creation coding and management.
Knowledge of Lean principles.
Excel, VBA or any equivalent data mining capabilities are preferable.
