Intel's Visual Technology Team (VTT) develops best in class graphics technology that is a critical part of our major product lines. We are looking for engineers to characterize and measure performance of 3D workloads (games and benchmarks). The graphics architecture team is responsible for performance and power (P&P) analysis and identification of GPU architectural improvements. We support pre-silicon analysis and what-if studies on performance and power models.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Characterize 3D and compute algorithms used in modern applications
-Develop models of graphics performance including 3D and GPGPU behavior
-Model and analyze graphics architecture using scripting languages
-Analyze, validate, and report outperformance of graphics (3D and compute) workloads in the pre-Si model

-Candidate must possess a relevant educational background and active student status for the next 12 or 24 months
-Experience in the design of 3D and compute workloads or knowledge of 3D APIs (DirectX, Vulkan, Metal, OCL)
-Programming skills: specifically, scripting languages (Perl and Python) and databases
-Demonstrable skills with data analysis, debugging and problem-solving
-Basic C/C++ programming skills
