The Data Systems Group exists to revolutionize the way Intel does data in the high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. Members of this team strive to enable faster and better decision-making for our global network of chip manufacturing customers - customers primarily including product/process/yield/quality engineers and their management teams. We build software systems to extract, transform, analyze, visualize, and publicize data to the strategic advantage of our customers. The Data Systems group utilizes custom Big Data processing tools, advanced Machine Learning techniques, and domain knowledge of Intel's chip making process. It is our core business to transform BIG DATA into BIG RESULTS with BIG ROI (Return of Investment). And we have fun doing it!
We are looking for an entry level programmer to continue the development of their skills as they contribute to our analytical software suite. The candidate chosen for hire will be paired up with a buddy/mentor and tasked to work with existing analytical tools + code bases, fix bugs, add features, etc. This will involve making improvements to code efficiency, readability, testability, and overall end user satisfaction. If you enjoy making improvements/additions to existing python/SQL/C# code in a dynamic environment where ideas flow freely and openly, we're excited to hear from you!
