FPGAs connected to Xeon processors are driving the data center revolution, dramatically transforming the way we live, work, and play. As a manager for the Xeon+FPGA Programmable Solutions Stack Engineering FPGA team, you will have an integral role in delivering innovative Xeon+FPGA accelerator platforms and solutions with rich feature sets to deliver higher levels of performance, energy-efficiency, and value that form the computing backbone of the connected world. In this position, you will manage a multi-disciplined, multi-geo team within Intel's Network and Configurable Logic Group (NCLG). You will be responsible for managing a talented group of engineers who architect, design, implement, verify, and deliver the FPGA platforms connected to Xeon processors using Intel's latest FPGA technologies targeting server-oriented computing products. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of leading and developing effective engineering teams, helping engineers reach their career aspirations, being able to initiate, schedule, and manage engineering projects, and working across organization boundaries to achieve desired results.
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
- 3+ years managing ASIC or FPGA design teams.
- 7+ years FPGA development experience.
- 7+ years Verilog and/or SystemVerilog experience.
- 3+ years in Systems Engineering and Architecture
- Experience with cloud and datacenter hardware acceleration opportunities using FPGA / GPU / ASIC.
- A solid understanding of cache-coherent interface protocols such as CXL
- Strong verbal and presentation skills
