3D Performance Undergraduate Intern

Job Description

Our Oregon based team is responsible for improving the performance of Intel's 3D graphics on Windows platforms. We investigate 3D game and application functionality and performance to identify driver improvements. We own improving 3D performance for future platforms, soon to be released platforms, and already shipping platforms. When focused on performance for future platforms we work closely with 3D architecture to evaluate feature options and develop driver improvements. When bringing up a new platform we investigate configuration options, run experiments to confirm results, and collaborate with others to bring products to release meeting performance targets. When focused on performance for already shipping platforms we collaborate with our solutions group in assisting game studios and application developers in efficient use of Intel graphics. With Intel's announced entrance to the discrete graphics market, we have an expanded role with exciting new challenges and opportunities. We are looking for experienced developers to join us in delivering high performance for Intel GPUs.
