Software Engineer Undergrad Intern

Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature.

U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.

Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Communication or Embedded Systems or other related Engineering program.


3 months of experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:

  • Programming knowledge in one or more languages like C*, C++*, Java, or scripting language like Perl*, Python* and Make.
  • Examples of work or projects in C/C++, C# , Data Analytics
  • Experience in system level debug, including BIOS, Drivers, OS, systems integration
  • Expertise in C and/or C++/C# programming in a Windows environment (GCC, GDB/KDB, etc.)
  • Working knowledge (debug and development experience) of standard PC system architecture, Operating Systems and Driver internals
  • Experience in developing and understanding the intricacies of large scale software development
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems etc.
