About the role -
As Product development engineer you will be working on the organization's core products, holding an important role in leveraging the connection of Manufacturing to Design and Architecture, translating designs into products. The unique combination of HW and SW will ensure daily technological challenges in a variety of working environments.
In this role you will you will be engaged at Intel CPU design and manufacturing process starting tech readiness through design and manufacturing stages of Intel products. During Tech Readiness pre-silicon phase, you will define, document, and perform Design for Testing (DFT) and functionality validation. You will write test plans and test vectors for different design blocks, scripts to improve test efficiency and evaluate test content generation. During post-silicon phases, you will perform, Silicon testing, Silicon debug, Design validation, parametric Silicon testing and characterization. You will work closely with designers and fellow Product Development Engineers to execute, optimize and improve test coverage and product cost effectiveness.
The Infrastructure and Platform Solutions Group (IPSG) builds the silicon and platform infrastructure for Intel's silicon design teams. IPSG is comprised of a reusable pool of infrastructure IP blocks, design enabling services such as tools and automation, and a best-in-class post silicon ecosystem that ramps quickly to high volume manufacturing and validation. Our primary mission is to protect Intel's brand by providing the infrastructure necessary to enable all of Intel's products to hit the market on a dependable and predictable cadence.
