Semiconductor Supply Chain Product Manager

Job Description

This Assembly/Test/SSD Supply Chain Product Manager role is to be a leader the Capabilities and Analytics team for the NSG Manufacturing Planning Organization.

Our focus is to drive advanced analytics to solve supply chain, manufacturing and strategic planning problems, to ultimately improve the decisions the business makes in these areas using analytics, optimization, and data innovation.

As an emerging area within NSG Manufacturing, this presents a unique opportunity where you can blaze your own trail while impacting large business metrics that directly affect the profitability of NSG.

Our team is focused on delivering optimization and analytics tools that directly affect customer delivery performance, inventory management, and capital investment optimization.


We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager, with hands-on experience in directly managing the roadmap for business critical tools developed in house by Intel experts.

The candidate should be comfortable building a product from the ground up and rapid prototyping with early adopter customers.

The ideal candidate should have a desire to work in fast paced, data-driven, collaborative and iterative engineering environment.

A strong love for learning, data, and creativity is a must. In order to be successful in this role, you should excel at making complex concepts simple and easy to understand by those around you in the team and to executives.

Qualifications

  • Degree (BS, MS, or PhD) with 4-7 years of experience working in product management or other customer-facing functions
  • Knowledge of Assembly, Test, SSD manufacturing environments associated with Intel's businesses
  • Familiarity with a Software Engineering environment e.g. test driven development, Agile methodologies, build and integration automation, and Validation/Hypothesis testing
  • Use of analytics / machine learning techniques to derive insights from large complex and multi-dimensional dataset including data cleansing; extensive knowledge of SQL
  • Solid knowledge and application of the following: Python or R, Big Data, statistics, Linear Algebra

Preferred competencies:

  • Capable of convincing and rallying others, with the ability to manage and grow internal relationships
  • Strong skills in bringing theoretical ideas to proof of concept- Creating examples, prototypes, extensions for proof of concepts to demonstrate effectiveness of the technologies and models
