Business HR Leadership Partner -- TSCG Engineering

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Succession and retention plans in place for critical business unit talent
  • Build strong business leader relationships for service, influencing and coaching
  • Deliver leadership strategies, plans and execute solutions that grow management and leadership capabilities
  • Build & Execute Talent Value Plans that align to HR Business Plan
  • Drives staffing requirements/standards into the business as needed
  • Integrates talent strategies and plans (diversity, rewards, etc.)


Key requirements of the role:
Works closely with senior executive management to drive growth for Intel by employing human resources, talent and employee development efforts including:

  • Close partnership and alignment with Intel HR Talent Value Organization (TVO), to develop and execute talent and leadership strategy roadmap
  • Owner of leadership talent planning in business groups, function and regions/geographies; Direct partnership with TVO/organization offerings
  • Develop/implement strategies for talent planning process, succession planning and development actions in partnership with HR Generalists
  • Drive BU Leadership succession and pipeline (succession planning process, executive performance recognition, VP/Fellow Nominations, etc.)
  • Drive retention reviews, action planning, follow-up; accountable for strategies and implementation of actions in coordination with HR Business Partners
  • Drive performance recognition reviews and performance management action planning
  • Help develop integrated Talent strategies (managerial / technical) and solutions connected to Leadership capability, strategic workforce planning & HR Biz Planning
  • Ensure strategies and plan incorporate external talent market and sourcing, diversity, learning and leadership solutions
  • Partner with HR centers of excellence (COEs) to successfully onboard new executives


Key Metrics:

  • Key roles and key talent identified
  • Succession plans in place for key roles
  • Active development plans in place for key successors

In addition the ideal candidate should have the following skills:

  • Business and Strategic Acumen: understands how profitability is achieved, who the business serves, how the business differentiates in the market & industry
  • HR Acumen and Collaboration: can connect how HR supports and enables the outcomes required for business success
  • Influence / coaching capability: able to influence and coach leadership at all levels of the org to grow/understand their capabilities to build best in class talent strategies to expand capacity.
  • Data Analytics: Assesses talent data to draw conclusions for capacity and resource modeling
  • Organization Acumen: Understands how to connect org design to end to end talent strategies
  • Talent Management: Understands how to optimize effectiveness and growth of the business through talent solutions and what leadership solutions are necessary to position the business to proactively manage talent flow including succession management, performance management, etc. (cost, quality and efficiency perspective)
  • Integration: works across other talent roles to build integrative Leadership and Talent Solutions
  • Leadership Theory/Acumen: applies expert thinking in leadership theory and acumen to bring cutting edge solutions to the business


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/ 9+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree in a job related field/ 6+ years of experience OR PhD/ 4+ years of experience
