Fab11X Senior Yield Engineer

Job Description
Fab Sort Manufacturing: Fab Sort Manufacturing, FSM, is a worldwide organization that optimizes, ramps, and delivers state of the art Intel Architecture and Memory manufacturing processes and products. Within FSM, F11x, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, has a unique charter to not only deliver high volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop NAND flash, Intel OptaneTM, and Photonics technologies. Yield Engineers are responsible for controlling technology changes introduction, monitoring in line defect performance and end of line die yields, finding root cause for in line defect excursion and navigating fix.


Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor's or a Maters/ PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.
This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.
3+ years previous experience in the semiconductor industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with design of experiments (DOE) principles
Experience in data analysis and statistical process control (JMP, SQL, PCS)
Fundamental understanding of Etest structures, Sort bins, Class test, device characteristics, product architecture and process interactions
Understands concepts of process capability, true spec, and variance
Knowledge of one or more of the following engineering disciplines: Process Integration, Design, Modeling, and/or Process Engineering.
