NSG Manufacturing is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Engineer to help support the growth of Intel's memory group (NAND and Optane products). As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer of the Master Solve team, you will work with Operations, Fabs, Assembly-Test sites, Engineering, and Subcontractors to optimize supply and support Customer Demand in addition to critical Engineering projects. You will take ownership of forecasts for specific nodes and drive resolutions of problems preventing goals from being achieved. The Supply Chain Planning Engineer will work on a team that works on several projects and/or programs simultaneously and delivers an optimized forecast of Assembly/Test and SSD builds.
Your Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
o Optimize supply to best meet demand on NAND and Optane products using the Scipio tool. Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to provide data analysis to evaluate the impact of different strategy options and technology enhancements.
o Real time monitors and statistical analysis to improve forecast accuracy and commitment execution.
o Utilize strong critical thinking skills and understanding of modeling concepts, planning assumptions, and metrics.
o Influencing/recommending issue resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate key stakeholder and management levels
o Ensure forecasts are well thought through and drive decision making.
o Partner with key stakeholders to drive strategic direction within the supply chain.
o Collaborate with the supply side of the organization in to ensure that supply meets market demand for NAND and Optane products.
o Support Fab and Component NPI (New Product Introduction) supply/demand analysis and develop forecasts
o Collaborate with employees inside and outside of the team to increase efficiencies using RIHV methodologies
o Communicate and present to Senior Leaders in effective manner
o Actively own safety for her/him, other employees in the area
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or Supply Chain
o 4 or more years experience creating forecasts using excel, optimization solvers, supply chain software solutions, or SAP systems and driving problem resolution.
o Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
o Strong Communication and Presentation skills
o Knowledge of Finance practices, Manufacturing, and OSAT/ODM management
o Experience in semiconductor industry
o Extensive understanding of optimization software
o Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups and build strong peer relationships.
o Proven ability to drive multiple complex projects to completion.
The role will initially be located in Lehi, Utah, but you will be required to relocate to Folsom, California, by the summer of 2020. Your manager will inform you of the specific relocation deadline. By accepting this offer you are acknowledging your decision to relocate to Folsom by the deadline your manager will provide you. A relocation package will be provided to Folsom, California, as part of this offer. The details of the relocation package will be determined closer to the time of your move, but are intended to follow Core or Core + Supplemental (whichever relocation package you qualify for at the time of your move).
