The candidate will have product (transport and storage systems) ownership, project management and development of new capability responsibilities in hardware and software. As the material handling domain, we are responsible for keeping the factory running 24x7. We partner with suppliers to design, test, install, qualify, and proliferate material handling systems to Intel factories worldwide. Our team owns all aspects of the system, as the technology development group, cradle to grave, i.e. throughout the life cycle. Therefore, the role of an engineer can be very specialized in an area, or span all aspects of the system, requirements definition, design, test, validation, sustaining, and operations. This job requires commitment to be in an on-call pool rotation with your team of engineers. This position may require some travel, including international, but very infrequent. Where we want to go in the next 10 years requires that we build our skills in software, data analytics as well as advanced hardware technology and system intelligence.
This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.
