IOTG SMG Specialist

Job Description
The Retail Solutions Division is an Internet of Things Group (IOTG) vertical generating >$1.0B in annual revenue across unique sub-segments and a diverse set of products. SMG is dedicated to growing Intel's leadership position in the rapidly evolving IOT-Retail market and this is a key role in driving that growth. The IOTG Retail Sales Specialist reports to the IOTG SMG controller for Intel and supports the IOTG Retail Sales Director in all aspects of Revenue, KPI, and sales investment management and ensures the Retail segment has appropriate growth plans, which are supported by optimized resource envelopes. This leadership role enables the success of our RSD Sales team by influencing a clear One Intel GTM/sales strategy and optimizing resource deployment + KPI structure across Intel's global sales and marketing team.

Responsibilities: Plans for the effective development and implementation of long-term and/or complex to highly complex projects. Influences the development of new strategies and concepts to meet business needs. Drives the application of strategies and concepts and determines the best course of action. Works independently and only requests consultative direction as needed. Regularly utilizes and applies advanced analytical skills to resolve problems with greater ambiguity and greater impact on the business. Routinely interacts with senior stake holders such as the Director/GM/VP/Controller/Group Controller on project issues often requiring coordination across organizational lines. Serves as a technical consultant to IOTG SMG Sales Director and internal operations for the organization on projects and/or matters regarding company policy and practices.


Qualifications

- Strategic Thinking: Able to define long term strategic goals in complex and dynamic business backgrounds, align them to overall BU and Corporate strategy, and connect them to tactical programs and initiatives executed at the account level.
- Business Acumen: Able to build deep understanding of Intel's products and technology and IoTG. In addition, have good understanding of the Retail industry, sales and marketing, or have intellectual curiosity and initiative to quickly develop this acumen.
- Networked and Partnership: Proven record of building positive relationships across multiple business groups, sometimes with conflicting incentives. Able to contribute to business direction through constructive tension, insights and ideas, and key stakeholder alignment
- Communication and Analytical Skills: The candidate should have excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate with senior executives. In addition, strong technical finance skills are required such as understanding of P&L and implications of pursuing new business opportunities.
- Job requires a finance, accounting, or business degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or MBA with 2+ years of experience.
- Previous finance experience is required.
