Build Automation Tools Engineer - Intern

Job Description
Develops tools to build and conduct stability and performance testing/analysis on Intel software projects (i.e., drivers, system software, software products, software services, etc.). Requires expertise in software development, networking and operating system intervals.

Join the exciting world of Intel Software and Services Group (SSG) One BIOS/UEFI Firmware Engineering team! You will be a part of the UEFI BIOS Team that develops BIOS Code to run in Intel's latest generation client and sever platforms.

As an intern candidate, you will be mentored by a Sr. Engineer in the importance and best practices of development. You will participate in the coding of new test content, updating existing test content, develop technical collateral, develop new code and resolve technical issues in the existing code. You may need to work with engineers in the lab to analyze, root cause and debug technical problems. You will be expected to assist with developing tools and scripts for build and automation processes.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum requirements:
Graduate working towards a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
6+ months experience/Skills in following:
Programming experience in Python Scripting
Programming experience in C/C++ Programming Language
Object oriented programming
Basic understanding of computer architecture
Experience working in a Linux and Windows environment
