Progression & Retention Case Manager

Job Description

The Warmline serves as a resource for guidance to help employees tackle career issues such as progression, integration, job skills mismatch, or relationship conflicts. As a Progression and Retention Case Manager you will be at the forefront of building and managing the process that will provide Intel employees a path to new opportunities within Intel.

Working closely with the Regional Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Lead for LAR, this role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for Warmline in LAR, establishing the infrastructure and relationships with key stakeholders to resolve employee issues
  • Be the first point of contact for employees who raise issues through the tool, assessing the nature of the issue, and identifying best path to resolution
  • Partner closely with local Human Resources partners in the Region in addressing issues raised by Warmline Case clients
  • Continue to pursue ways to identify and implement Warmline program process improvements
  • Mine Warmline data for insights to enable Business Units to address any gaps or challenges within their organizations
  • Be able to articulate and present data to help Business Units understand their "opportunity areas" within their organizations
  • Deliver Warmline Road Shows and WL overview presentations in the region to inform and educate employees on the Warmline resource
  • Identify opportunities to proactively leverage resources to invest in your personal development as well as continuing to build competencies to be a value to the Warmline Case Advisor role
  • Demonstrate the ability to take on special projects that align to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Warmline team


In addition this role will be the liaison for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in the region. This will entail:

  • Collaborating with LAR D&I Regional Lead to implement the local communities' strategy, with a particular focus initially on Women at Intel, IGlobe, Intel Diverse Abilities Network and EXTEND (the ERG for everyone)
  • Connecting local ERGs with global D&I strategy and priorities, ensuring alignment with key focus areas
  • Managing the overall ERG program in the region, providing leadership and coaching, while working on strategic initiatives
  • Developing and communicating fair and consistent human resource and finance guidelines as they pertain to ERG events
  • Serving as a point of escalation to the local employee group and corporate affairs
  • Responding to internal and external communication regarding employee resource groups
  • Managing funding of individual groups and site events
  • Chartering new groups and chapters; including the requests review, approval and support throughout the process
  • Engaging with executive sponsors and site diversity leadership teams.


This Progression and Retention Case Management function requires the following skills:

  • Problem Solving and Analysis: Strong desire to apply problem solving through root cause analysis
  • Data Storytelling: Utilize data to identify opportunities to improve diversity improvement metrics of Retention and Progression
  • Operations: An operational focus aligned with tracking and communicating progress of each candidate to a given Service Level Agreement
  • Business Acumen: Thorough understanding of progress needed to deliver Intel's Diversity Goals
  • Communication: Strong communication skills- you will be working with a broad network of people across all Intel businesses
  • Relationship Management: Develop, build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Customer Service: Customer service orientation that seeks to understand each case and drive towards meeting both candidate and Intel business needs
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information: Respects and maintains employee confidence and protects program brand by keeping employee engagement confidential
  • Influence: Ability to effective influence decision makers to work towards solutions and resolution
  • Resourcefulness: Garner resources and overcome obstacles in the pursuit of finding a satisfactory resolution for client
  • Resilience: Remain calm and professional in potentially emotionally charged interactions. Maintain high productivity and performance in the face of setbacks and rejections


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • Project management and global business partnering/influencing experience
  • Experience driving cross-organizational issues and complex multi-disciplinary projects to resolution
  • Manage multiple components of a project and schedules, identifying risks and providing solutions
  • Solid understanding of strategy principles, Intel strategic direction
  • A high degree of Human Resource and Diversity & Inclusion acumen.
