As an Electro-Optics Engineer in the EyeC group, you will be responsible for architecture and product development methodologies. This job requires work closely with research and development groups.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: define product characterization and test methodology; develop techniques to characterize electro-optical transmit and receive signal chains, communications with design manufacturing; define production test requirements per the product specifications, and enable the manufacturing production test capability; perform optical, electrical, and mechanical assessments of optic solutions with the goal of bringing the technology to a production environment; lab activities with cutting edge lab instruments for lab/simulation results correlation, as well as programming scripts for automation and optimization required for those tasks.
Inside this Business Group
Must have at least a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering . Minimum 2 year of relevant hands-on experience in electro - optics related testing and characterizations.
Additional preferred qualifications: familiar with optical communication components and/or systems, 3D imaging applications and standards; familiar with semiconductor lasers, electro-optic modulators and PIN/APD receivers.
