Staff Analog Engineer

Job Description

As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Directs and guides the activities of research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying, modeling and analyzing analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, interconnects, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Evaluates final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. Prepares and presents reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.


Qualifications

You will be responsible for the following:

Responsible for defining and evaluating the IP specification
Responsible for defining IP architecture and circuit design that meets best in industry performance, power and area
Collaborate with pre-silicon validation team to develop functional test plans
Collaborate with post-silicon to resolve silicon level sightings
Collaborate with physical design team for design transfer from frontend to backend
Generate all the necessary collateral to successfully enable the backend design flow
Desired Skill:

Experience in designing Clocking IPs (LCPLL, RING PLL, OSC , XTL OSC IPs and), High resolution ADC/DACs, Power Management IPs, Reference IPs (Bandgap, DTS), GPIO and high speed SERDES IPs design
Worked with validation engineers to develop functional validation and coverage test plans
Strong problem solving and debugging skills and ability to work closely with various chip design disciplines and cross site teams
Have proven verbal and written communication skills
Motivated, self-directed, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to debug errors in various CAD tools (cadence ADEXL, Virtuoso, Prime Time, LEC etc)
Experience in developing BMOD for analog IPs in system Verilog
Understanding in validating the BMOD against IP design
Work in collaboration with IP designers
Experience in using fast spice simulation tools like XA
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of industry experience
