AZ Site Materials Manager

Job Description
As the Site Materials Manager for the Arizona Manufacturing site, you will be responsible for supporting the current FSM operations and driving the site materials operations team to deliver the equipment spares, chemicals, and services needed to run the factory. In this role, you will be the primary connection point to the broader Global Supply Chain organization helping to link both sourcing and procurement services to support and sustain the site performance. You will also be in collaboration or matrix management with other ecosystem partners in GSM, CPLG, IT, and CS to make sure the delivery and management of equipment spares, chemicals, and services are in place and ready to support the fab site operations.

The Materials Manager position is the senior GSM representative at the AZ site. They manage the onsite procurement team and warehouse operations to make sure inventory is effectively stocked, stored, and delivered in accordance with factory needs. They also manage all supplier relationships that support the site infrastructure and drive local site supplier performance. The successful candidate will effectively take ownership for and deliver to the material needs of the factory while ensuring consistent stakeholder communication so that the overall team is able to deliver the expected factory output.

It will be expected that this individual will take a hands-on leadership role in developing the site materials team, understanding/articulating the needs of the factory, and aligning site resources to deliver to the dynamic needs of the factory.


Qualifications

- Understanding of the Intel manufacturing supplier network
- Understanding of the GSM organization and sourcing structure
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to make recommendations accordingly
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all levels of management and across organizational boundaries
- Proven people management skills and ability to lead team performance to group objectives
- Ability to drive through ambiguous and complex work situations
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' related experience in supply chain management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's level or Supply Chain Certification highly preferred
