Security Specialist

Job Description

Corporate Quality Network is inviting security professionals to define and execute robust compliance and governance processes across Intel product development lifecycle. In this role, you will work across teams to analyze current state, identify gaps, and provide solutions to ensure product security risks are proactively identified and prevented. You will also provide technical leadership to SW and HW Quality Engineers in implementing governance practices across Intel products. Candidate will also guide implementation of tools and infrastructure to support execution in the Quality Management System.


Responsible for the deployment and enforcement of corporate and business group information security policies to protect Intel's information assets and intellectual property. Define compliance requirements and indicators. Monitor, audit, or execute security controls and tools to ensure business acceptable exposure levels to Intel's information assets and intellectual property on those systems. Recommend and drive additional security controls and trainings to meet current and future needs. Communicate clearly, establish partnerships, define clear roles/ responsibilities / boundaries with stakeholders. Requires thorough knowledge of security practices, procedures, and capabilities in order to perform analytical work.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: 

  • Ability to translate and communicate Security policies and procedures into actionable items for product developers and quality professionals.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.  Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.   

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Computer Science or comparable degree with 7+ years documented industry experience in engineering, project management and/or quality management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security in general e.g., authentication, cryptography, secure protocol, along with practicing security development lifecycle practices.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in threat modeling, penetration testing, and fuzzing frameworks. Knowledge of security code review, analysis, and vulnerability assessment. Leading scanning tools and hackathons.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of the Information Security Common Body's of Knowledge CISSP or equivalent Certification.
  • Strong network in security community CISSP and/or other security certifications.
