Intel Silicon Photonics Product Division (SPPD) is looking for a software/PDK development engineer to help develop our Silicon Photonics Process Design Kit (PDK) and define our next generation optical products.
MS with 6+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience
Experience developing behavioral models for high speed Si and III-V photonic component and subsystems in direct detect (DD) and coherent optical system (ie, modulators, detectors, lasers).
Significant experience with hardware and software acceleration techniques (including FPGA hardware acceleration)
Experience developing and implementing a PDK flow starting from fabrication/manufacturing data and extending into system simulation environment.
Have strong communication skills, and be able to work independently.
