Software Developer for Optane Memory

Job Description

In this role you will participate in developing the software stack for the new non-volatile memory products targeted at data centers.

You will work with internal teams participating in the project (firmware, hardware, program operations) and directly with customers using the product.

Apart from developing new software you will be responsible for optimizing/debugging existing software and resolving customer issues. The job may require infrequent travel to other Intel sites and to customers as needed.


Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineer or any related field.

3+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Excellent practical knowledge of the C programming language.
- Experience in writing low-level software (interacting directly with the hardware).
- Experience in developing software for Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of systems based on Intel CPUs.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in development of UEFI (BIOS) software.
- Knowledge of PC memory subsystem.
