GSM Platform Enabling Specialist

Job Description
TMG's Systems Supply Chain & Tech Enabling (SSC) group is chartered with developing and executing component enabling strategies for items such as memory, display, battery, sensors, & cameras to provide Intel silicon based systems differentiated capabilities and cost advantages helping to accelerate Intel BU's strategies and achieve profit goals. The GSM Platform Enabling Specialist will be responsible for partnering with SSC component technologists and business leads, as well as SSC Directors to develop component differentiation and cost savings proposals through financial/biz analysis, competitive/market acumen, and assessing fit with Intel BU platform strategies.


Qualifications

--Assess and drive long term component enabling strategies to ensure long-term, cross-Intel advantages vs. competition
--Evaluate and influence specific deal strategies including gives/gets, negotiation approaches, investment alternatives, and PnL impacts
--Partner with Intel BU finance and operations to develop valuation and cost models to shape the Intel strategy and understand potential competitive risk areas. This role provides an unique opportunity to influence and directly engage with senior leaders in TMG and multiple Intel business units, both in Operations and finance, in addition to external engagement with supplier partners and Intel customers
