Corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) has an opportunity for a talented individual to manage and evolve our software systems for the purpose of ensuring Intel's compliance with local, federal, state health and safety regulations and Intel's corporate standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and strong technical knowledge. It is essential this candidate has passion and energy around understanding EHS Systems and be an advocate to ensure an EHS Systems roadmap is in place to meet today and tomorrow's needs. They will be responsible for:
- Leading projects from our 2019 Strategy
- Developing and sustaining processes that keep our systems in compliance and evolving with our changing business
- Liaison between EHS, IT, vendors, and various business groups
- Represent and prioritize EHS needs with IT partners
- Understanding of software contracts and agreements along with vendor management
- Maintain system needs within EHS budget
- Coordinate systems support meetings
- Constructively and respectfully handle ambiguity with software systems
- Ensure communication of system changes to all regions and users
- POC for Corp EHS systems along with specified sustaining activities
- Representative of EHS systems for Privacy and Compliance/GDPR
- Identify the need for training vs. system enhancement need
- Flexibility on day-to-day tasks with quick and active re-prioritization of focus areas


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Information Systems or related degree
- 7+ years of experience in environmental, health, safety, software management or related experience
- Ability to build strong trusting relationships across EHS, IT, Privacy Office, and other business groups that impact or use the EHS systems
- Excellent communication verbal, written & presentation skills
- Team player & ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company
- Creative and innovative thinker with an ability to translate complex ideas into simple, actionable recommendations.
- Understanding of EHS and IT business process and architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in environmental, health and safety or related field
- Project management experience
- Leadership experience of cross site teams
