GSM Q&R Fab & Equipment Q&R Manager

Job Description
The GSM-EFM Q&R group (Global Supply Management Equipment and Fab Materials) within GSM Q&R is seeking to hire an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the fab capital equipment and fab materials supplier quality programs. The EFM Q&R Manager is expected to lead the quality team and partner with GSM technical teams, fab and TD engineers to develop and drive quality initiatives, maintain and improve the organization's quality systems, respond to supplier quality trends and excursions, and coach and influence suppliers to the right quality behaviors. Strong partnership & collaboration with business partners and influencing skills are a must to drive quality incidence free QIF supplier performance. The job requires strong managerial skills in leading a team and fostering innovation and breakthrough performance to deliver materials and equipment that function as expected at the lowest total cost.


Experience leading and managing technical teams in a highly complex and dynamic environment. Must have a proven track record of stakeholder and supplier management and influence customer orientation systems thinking people and resource management cost effective Q&R goal setting and quality systems development, deployment and improvement. Previous experience working within the Fab Manufacturing ecosystem is highly desirable. The candidate should have earned an MS or Ph.D. degree in a related engineering or physical sciences discipline such as Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Applied Physics and have at least 3-5 years of direct managerial experience. Direct FSM or Fab TD experience is a plus. Travel to supplier sites might be required, as well as participation in meetings with global partners in the USA and Asia. Job location is in Hillsboro, OR
