Considered a subject matter expert in one or more areas of mechanical design. Integrates advanced working knowledge of other disciplines and demonstrates innovation and creativity in cross functional design and engineering
- Advanced knowledge of various mechanical design/electro mechanical design.. Expertise in implementation of most major design disciplines and validation such as DFM, DFA, DFR, DOE, assembly, statistics, tolerance analysis, failure analysis, etc.. Strong knowledge of various non-mechanical engineering such as Board level thermal design, Structural design and challenges faced across electronics cooling industry with respect to PCB layout and manufacturing. Software knowledge Creo part modeling, motion analysis, Creo Ecad-Mcad collaboration
- Hands on experience in plastic component design and knowledge in manufacturing process, Ability to perform non-linear analysis
M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 5 - 10 years of experience in high tech industry with min 5 years of experience in product (system) development. Strong fundaments in Thermal and Mechanical design. A background in electronics cooling and knowledge of thermal simulation tools and experimental methodologies is preferred. Experience working with cross cultural teams is a must. Should have experience in product development, working with vendors and suppliers in the Mechanical & Thermal Design space. Strong technology background with passion for Developing IP and game changing technology.
