Corporate Environmental Health and Safety EHS has an opportunity for a talented individual to join the Corporate Construction EHS CEHS team reporting to the Construction EHS Manager. The Construction EHS engineer will manage construction EHS program on the Oregon campuses.
Manage CEHS programs for projects in Oregon
Ensure that projects meet the requirements of the CEHS Project Strategies and Construction Management Practices CMP manual.
Ensure CEHS services are available and implemented on projects in Oregon to facilitate the safe planning, start up, construction, commissioning and turnover in an effort to maintain World Class EHS Performance.
Provide CS Construction management guidance and coaching to ensure actions are in alignment with Intel's strategies and objectives
BS + 4 yrs. exp.; MS + 3 yrs. exp. in Environmental Health and Safety.
Minimum 4+ years' experience in construction and application of OSHA CFR Title 29, Part 1926.
Preferred Skills and requirements:
Master's degree preferred. Management experience working in Construction. Knowledge and/or experience in equipment signoff process, demolition procedures, commissioning and startup of equipment and systems including chemical systems, establishment of CEHS policies, programs & procedures, co-occupied construction and/or sustaining areas, Behavior Based Safety cultural development, and incident investigation.
Professional certification CSP/ASP Strong self-motivation and multitasking abilities.
Strategic thinking and decision making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop senior management presentations and perform cost/ROI analysis.
Must have demonstrated ability at providing coaching/mentoring to Intel, GC and trade contractor project management on EHS Program Management.
