In this position, you are entrusted to work directly with customers to enable Intel's Wireless Connectivity technology on OEM/ODM Windows platforms. The key duties and responsibilities are: Providing OEM design support to ensure successful platform launch, resolving technical issues by working with internal engineering teams. Working closely with OEM/ODMs, providing technical assistance for their development and debug. Wireless hardware and RF technical training as needed to field teams and customers. Reviewing customer data and specs and delivering feedback on required improvements
Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.
BS or MS EE/CE- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills. >3 years of troubleshooting experience with wireless, specifically WIFI/BT. Experience working with OEMs, ODMs, and end customers. Strong Windows and PC architecture knowledge. Debugging tools experience is a plus. Understanding of Windows device drivers and software applications development. Understanding of IO interfaces such as PCI-Express and USB buses. Strong lab working and debug skills. International and domestic travel may be required periodically. Strong adaptive ability to work effectively in a global team environment and across organizational boundaries. Strong ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and exhibit strong influencing skills and customer orientation in an ambiguous environment.Inside this Business Group
