Server Product QRE test engineer

Job Description
The qualified candidate will lead test quality efforts across a portfolio of DCG Silicon products, including: Xeon Server, Micro-server, and Xeon PHI. The engineer will engage early in the product life cycle to ensure that appropriate DFT features are planned utilize DART and other models to determine required test coverage needs work with test writing team to develop and monitor an implementation plan. In addition, the qualified candidate will work with various stakeholders to understand risks and mitigations associated with test strategies on new process technologies conduct MTR minimum test requirements reviews with HVM test owners to ensure compliance generate qual test program requirements to maximize the success of QRV data collection define requirements for QV/PPV data collection and analyze the results monitor product health by reviewing ATM outgoing DPM and/or FACR, CLF data on a periodic basis and drive closure of coverage gaps, and assist in responding to customer requests or events as they occur. Ultimately this person is expected to be a self-starter who can develop robust engineering solutions to problems utilizing formal education, job experience, and sound judgment.


Qualifications

The desired candidate should have a minimum of a MS degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics, and 5-7yrs of experience across several engineering disciplines. Additionally, experience that relates to some of the following fundamentals of Quality and Reliability are required. These include: a foundation in semiconductor device physics, VLSI circuit design, IC fabrication, failure mechanisms, accelerated stress testing, component qualification methodologies, semiconductor assembly/packaging, component test, failure analysis and statistics. Applicant should be able to demonstrate through past experience the ability to combine technical proficiency with good communication skills written and verbal to effectively influence stakeholders. In addition, he/she must demonstrate excellent problem solving skills in a multi-disciplined team environment and be able to exercise sound engineering judgment. The candidate must also have strong leadership & project development skills.
