Here you will work on building a performance/functional simulator from the ground up for high-performance for Gen Graphics processors designed for a variety of workloads. These simulators are a critical tool for architectural exploration and providing a reference model for validation of the GPU. In this position, you will be responsible for design, coding, validation (including performance co-relation) and maintenance of cluster level models in the GPU pipeline. The job will involve intense engagement with IP architects, RTL design and Driver teams at all stages of the development cycle. The models you build will help internal and external customers explore new GPU use-models and expand into new areas of Deep Learning, Machine learning, Media servers, Augmented/ Virtual reality, etc - this position offers unique opportunity to impact these emerging application areas.
