Job Description

Our Computer Hardware Engineers analyze complex equipment to determine the best way to improve it, and work in various areas of hardware development. Areas you could be working in include development and research, production, or installation and support. You could be supporting our components and hardware at virtually every step, from initial brainstorming of new products to the improvement and modification of later secondary models of a previous product. Engineers may work on assorted computer components including computer systems, computer chips, modems, circuit boards, and innumerable other parts. The various tasks of a computer hardware engineer are widespread and diverse. Since they take part in and oversee nearly every aspect of the life of a piece of hardware, our engineers work both independently and with other organizations in their daily tasks. Depending on the specific position, computer hardware engineers could work in a single area or many areas. Engineers will work to test all aspects of the hardware where they modify, improve, and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. You must meet the qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, class course work, research, relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Experience with:

  • Design Tools (Cadence, CAD/AutoCad/Allegro)
  • Programming Languages (C#/Shell/UNIX/Linux)
  • Matlab/Matlab Works
  • Xilinx
  • Verilog/System Verilog
  • VLSI
  • Analog circuit design/multi-layers analog circuit layout
  • high-speed digital circuit design and layout
  • Computer and/or SoC architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with:
    • Schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and typical lab tools
    • Gaming
