Security Researcher

Job Description
Responsible for secure design, development and operation of Intel's hardware and software products and services. Responsibilities may include threat assessment, design of security components, vulnerability assessment. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risks. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal process. Maintains substantial knowledge of stateoftheart security principles, theories, attacks and contributes to literate and conferences. May participate in development or intellectual property. Require thorough knowledge of security practices, procedures and capabilities in order to perform nonrepetitive, analytical work.


Intel is looking for a Security Researcher in the Guadalajara zone.Privacy and Security are important assets that everybody wants to protect, a Security Researcher validates systems in order to prevent, detect and mitigate possible vulnerabilities, and this task requires great technical knowledge, expertise, put attention to details and out of the box thinking.The Security Center of Excellence is responsible for security assurance among a wide set of Intel products.A typical day as a Security Researcher might include: Review the results of your previous overnight running test Meet with your team to discuss possible attack paths Develop a Linux shell script to validate a possible vulnerability Explore new paths to known attacks as well as new possible attacks Develop state of the art automated security testing software Review news for just discovered malware/vulnerabilities Review IPs RTL code Security Researchers are excellent at system engineering, programming stars and experienced shell scripting with great communication skills.This job might be for you if: You are an engineering rock star You want to make a safer world. You are a master on shell scripting, Perl, C/C++, Python or others and willing to learn really fast. You are curious about hardware definition languages.
